Flourless Chocolate Cake

These pics are from a couple of weeks ago when I was still in Colorado. My hubby and I were invited over for a dinner party. They called it a fiesta, and I thought, what better to bring to a Fiesta than a spicy chocolate dessert. This went over as a huge hit.

How did you achieve the pattern on top? It looks like a banneton pattern – very cool.

I placed a doily on top and then sifted powdered sugar over that. It created this nice design! And then I sprinkled some Cinnamon on top of the cake for some more color.

This looks really interesting. I’ve never seen a cake with chipotle in it before.
